This is a solid, well-built artist's drafting table with cast iron adjustment hardware and a clean, minimalist mid-century design. Desk offers two independent adjustments: • Height adjustable from approximately 31" to 40.5" • Drafting surface tilts from flat to a near-vertical drawing position using the original cast iron geared mechanism The drawing surface measures 31" wide × 23" deep. At maximum height with the board flat, the work surface sits 40.5" from the floor. At maximum height with the board tilted to its highest position, top edge reaches approximately 49.5" from the floor. At its lowest setting with the board tilted, the highest point reaches about 41" from the floor.

The table is impressively sturdy throughout its adjustment range. Raising the height does not noticeably reduce its stability. Condition is very good for its age. The wood shows wear consistent with a 70+ year old working drafting table, including light surface scratches and a few small impressions that add to its vintage character. All adjustment mechanisms operate smoothly. See less
