With solid American cherry with turned legs and stretcher bases, these classic American tables balance traditional form with highly practical proportions. The recent professional refinishing reveals the natural warmth and subtle grain movement of the cherry, allowing the wood to read lighter, cleaner, and more current than typical 1970s examples.
Each table measures 27.5" wide when fully open and approximately 14" wide with both leaves down. That compact footprint makes them especially versatile — ideal where space is limited, yet easily expanded when additional surface is needed. Solid, sturdy, and beautifully proportioned, they function equally well as end tables, sofa tables, or flexible accent pieces in smaller interiors.

JUNE'S THOUGHTS
I know this may sound unusual, but what first drew me to these tables was the design of the pivoting leaf supports. That small construction detail sets them apart from many so-called “small footprint” tables. It’s thoughtful engineering, quiet, and well integrated into the design.
Just as important is their scale. At approximately 14 inches wide when closed, they become the kind of tables designers quietly rely on. They tuck beside a sofa without crowding, sit comfortably between chairs, or slip into narrow places where a full-scale table would overwhelm the room. I’m always drawn to pieces that adapt to real living— where intelligent construction and versatility create longevity.
