Antique Wedgwood Etruria decorative cabinet plate featuring a finely detailed English sporting scene titled “Stand Back.” The central transfer-printed image depicts a stag standing in a river confronted by a hound, rendered in classic late Victorian style.
The scene is framed by a rich red geometric band and an ornate polychrome floral border, creating a striking contrast and strong decorative presence. Scalloped edge adds dimension and elegance.
Marked “Wedgwood Etruria England” to the reverse with impressed factory marks. Circa 1891–1910.
A beautiful addition to English country interiors, hunting lodge décor, gallery walls, or curated cabinet displays.
