Antique Von Schierholz Reticulated Porcelain Console Bowl - 1907-1927
This exquisite centerpiece bowl is a masterpiece of early 20th-century German craftsmanship from the renowned Von Schierholz manufactory in Plaue. Featuring the iconic Rococo-revival style, the piece showcases intricate hand-pierced reticulation (openwork) along the rim, complemented by elaborate hand-modeled "encrusted" floral blossoms that adorn the exterior. The interior is decorated with delicate hand-painted floral motifs, while the entire piece is elegantly accented with fine gold gilt.
The underside bears the authentic blue crown and shield maker's mark with three oak leaves, used during the factory's celebrated period from 1907 to 1927. This console basket is a quintessential example of "Dresden-style" porcelain, perfect for adding historical elegance to a formal dining table or mantel.
