Fishers Island chairs come complete with seat and back cushions made by Abbey Custom Textiles in a neutral off-white fabric. The chair has no maker's mark or label but was acquired directly from the EJ Victor manufacturing facility.

EJ Victor was a prominent North Carolina manufacturer known for producing licensed furniture collections for leading designers and luxury brands. Their partnerships have included Ralph Lauren Home, Thomas O'Brien, Bunny Williams Home, and Kate Spade Home, among others. The EJ Victor manufacturing pedigree reflects a high level of craftsmanship and an incomparable design heritage that were nearly lost due to damage inflicted by Hurricane Helene in September of 2024. Despite the fact that a large number of chair frames, case goods and upholstery materials survived undamaged, the decision was made to close down EJ Victor permanently. Abbey Custom Textiles and The Furniture Atelier were fortunate to acquire the remaining EJ Victor frame and case goods inventory, thus preserving, reimagining, and professionally finishing what the artisans of EJ Victor had begun.
