We are excited to get a chance to find and offer another pair of these wonderful French Art Nouveau solid … Read more We are excited to get a chance to find and offer another pair of these wonderful French Art Nouveau solid bronze candlesticks. The first pair we sold were of the one to the right and at the 12" tall. Now we have one of those at 6 1/2" and accompanying it is a taller 9" one with a wider and curved design. They both mimic freestanding columns, with vertical shaft serving as the main body, and topped by a capital that holds the candle socket. A orange gold, copper like, finish is found throughout each one.

As we always think, pairs don't always have to be identical; and we love the combination of the two different looks here. They are of one family but different personalities.

We believe them to be late 19th Century to early 20th and they are market with what seems to be either an M or two D's facing each other. A mark we're yet to identify the maker of.
