Its broad cylindrical body is paired with a high arched handle, turned wood grip, fitted copper lid and dramatically curved spout—a wonderfully sculptural silhouette for an open kitchen shelf or collected copper display.

The surface has been left with its existing patina rather than polished to a high shine, revealing variations in color, spotting and traces of its history. The darkened tin-lined interior and original turned wood handle add to its utilitarian character.

Marked L’Etoile Fantuzzi – Made in Chile and accompanied by its original care information referencing the lacquered copper exterior and tin lining.

Likely dating to the mid-20th century, circa 1960s–1970s.

Measures approximately 8.5” H including handle × 8” W including spout, with a 7” diameter base.

A particularly good piece for a French country kitchen, collected traditional interior, rustic European-inspired space or grouping of vintage copper cookware.

In vintage condition with substantial age-appropriate patina, oxidation, spotting, surface scratches, discoloration and wear throughout. Interior shows considerable darkening from age and previous use. Wood handle shows age-related wear. Please review photographs closely for condition.
