A wonderful early production Eero Saarinen Knoll Womb Chair and ottoman that we just recently had reupholstered. the fabric we chose is a Knoll Studios “Feeling Plaid” which is 55% Rayon, 42% Wool and 3% Nylon. It has a beautiful hand and feels great. The chair retained the original Knoll paper label from with the Long Island City address, dating it as amongst the earliest production of these chairs. The ottoman has no label. The steel legs are in good condition with some marks and rust spots.
