Exceptional set of highly collectible Stanley Touraine Flow Blue Plates. Set of (8) 9" plates.
Backstamp and registration number indicate these are from 1909-1915.
The pattern features a flow blue (underglaze) transfer, often with a floral design and gold gilt banding. "Touraine" is a highly collectible Flow Blue pattern originally registered in 1898 by Henry Alcock & Co. and later produced by the Stanley Pottery Co. in Burslem, Staffordshire, England.
