The crest ornament is a basket with elaborate foliate motif over a symmetrically shaped case. One key included to operate the clock’s working movement through two key holes found in the face. Its painted clock dial has Roman numerals and corresponding time increments of five minutes each. Domed glass windows front and back can be opened to access the dial and movement. The clock sits atop a fluted column and is surrounded by wreath and garland details, rising from a base of abundant detail. Four toupie shaped feet elevate the case from the table or mantel. The chime strikes once on the half hour and once for every hour on the hour. See the detailed images for more. See less
