Antique Moschendorf Bavaria "Ladies of Leisure" Cabinet Plates - Set of 6
This exquisite set of six antique porcelain cabinet plates from Porzellanfabrik Moschendorf in Bavaria, Germany, showcases the timeless elegance of the early 20th century. Each plate features a distinct central scene of "Ladies of Leisure" or "Victorian Beauties" in idyllic garden settings, meticulously rendered using the historic "Mixtion"technique—a blend of transfer design and delicate hand-painted highlights.
The scenes are framed by a vibrant sea-green band and a lush border of purple and pink floral blossoms, accented with gold-gilded detailing and a graceful scalloped rim. These 6-inch plates are perfect examples of the Belle Époque artistic flourishing exported by Moschendorf during its peak years.
