Harkness’s … Read more Studio glass vase in original condition from the 1970s made by renowned glass blower, Richard Harkness, New Hampshire USA. Harkness’s work can be seen in a number of prestigious galleries and museums, including the Metropolitan Museum of art in New York. Additionally he was formally a professor of glassblowing at Haystack Mountain school of arts. Harkness‘s pieces are scarcely available . This particular vase features a rich deep cobalt blue thick glass with a swirl motif in various shades of aqua. The artists signature is shown at the underside of the base. This face has been lovingly stored for decades and has the original sticker on the side. See less
