The platter features a hand-painted floral design executed in an Imari-inspired palette of cobalt blue, iron red, soft yellow, and touches of green. The central motif showcases stylized wave patterns interspersed with blooming florals, while the rim is adorned with coordinating botanical elements that frame the composition beautifully. The underside bears a blue square seal mark consistent with pieces attributed to Kozan Gama production. The platter has a lovely scalloped form with a raised lip, giving it a more substantial, sculptural feel than a standard flat serving plate. This piece works beautifully as a functional serving platter or as a decorative accent, bringing a touch of classic Japanese artistry to any setting. Made in the later Showa era, likely dating to the 1970s–1980s. See less
