Habert Dys is known for his fanciful decorative designs for ceramics, wallpapers, textiles, vases, etc. His work is intricate and exquisite and reflects the Japanese influence at the time. Habert Dys' works are found in museums and library collections around the world and are often sold at auction. This image is one of a series we are offering; please see companion images in our shop. It is a pastoral landscape design with swans in water. It is in unusual horizontal oval format Please note that the corner designs are done with metallic gold inks. This is quite rare and unique to this period. The lithograph is pristine with clean borders. It is signed in stone by the artist. 13.5 x 10 inches in size. Image is 10.25 x 7. Works by Habert Dys have become more difficult to find with the passage of time. This, along with the others offered in our shop, would make a wonderful home decor statement. See less
