An exceptional pair of ornate gilt bronze andirons featuring elaborate Baroque Revival decoration. Each andiron showcases a vertical columnar form crowned with a classical female figure or angel wearing flowing robes and an ornamental headdress. The tall shafts are richly adorned with acanthus leaf scrollwork and foliate ornaments in high relief.

The impressive bases feature dramatic winged cherub or putti figures extending outward on both sides, creating a sweeping, theatrical presence.
