Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of Navy Bar Stools from Emeco. The 1006 Navy Chair were originally created in 1944 for the US Navy as a lightweight, non-corrosive, fire resistant and super strong chair for ships and submarines. They are built by hand from 80% recycled aluminum in Hanover, Pennsylvania and work both for indoor or outdoor use. They have visible wear to the metal that is consistent with regular usage.
