Hand-built in chamotté clay, the piece features a bold double-handled form and deeply incised tribal-inspired motifs typical of Vallauris studio pottery from the postwar period. The rich brown and copper-toned glazes enhance the textured surface and organic silhouette. An incised inscription under the base includes the mention “Décor main,” indicating hand decoration.

The style and technique evoke the work of major Vallauris workshops of the period, in the spirit of Huguette and Marius Bessone, without formal attribution.
