Where to begin, there is so much to tell about this piece. The Clear glass compote has some weight to it and is Measuring 10 1/2" tall when covered with the top. The top of the lid has a cut glass handle with interesting patterns. The shape of the lid is like the top of a pumpkin. The lid and bowl are almost a square shape with the corners curved in. The bowl measurements are about 7" x 7" and is 1 3/4" deep with a pattern on the bottom. There is a frosted pattern on the lid and the sides of the dish with 2 different ferns or vines. The compote stem is pressed glass, and the base is similar to the top handle of the lid but with a larger shape. Interesting and good craftsmanship with many patterns. See less
