This rare piece is unsigned … Read more Here is a scarce antique original large cast iron Victorian aquarium/terrarium in restored, undamaged condition. This rare piece is unsigned but possibly by the J W Fiske Company of New York City. It has been disassembled and sand blasted , then enameled with several coats of paint and primer, with gold accents like the original paint scheme. New glass panels have been installed with silicone non toxic aquarium cement. It has NOT been tested for water tightness and it is doubtful that it is. May need more silicone caulking for aquarium use. Can be put into service as is for terrarium / plant function. Overall measurements , as pictured. See photos for fit dimensions. Aquarium alone weighs about 70 pounds. See less
