It is elm throughout with paneled seat, stretcher base, and carved designs. It was purchased for $1250 in 1990 from Gump’s Department Store in San Francisco (copy of receipt included as authentication). The natural neutral color and circular and s-shapes make it a pleasing decorative element for any style room. See less
