English in … Read more This Really is a Great Looking Antique Yellow Ware Pottery Kitchen Mixing Bowl. Circa Approx Mid 19th Century. English in Origin. LARGE SIZE - Measures 15 inches at Top Rim. It is Rendered in the Early Thick & Heavy Style with Bolstered Top & Base Rims ( Weighs Over 8 Pounds! ). It is Decorated with 2 Wide Cream Color Bands. It has a Very Old Hairline Crack that would have Occurred as a Result of Everyday Use Many Years Ago. Note! that the Staining in the cracks indicates that this bowl was actually still used for many years after the cracks occurred. It Also has Some Age and Use Related Surface Staining in Some Areas. The Bowl is still Structurally Sound and Displays Very Nicely.
