Hill & Company, reflecting the Scottish pebble jewelry revival of the 1960s–1970s. The round piece features intricate Celtic knotwork around the perimeter, with faceted glass and molded cabochons mimicking amethyst, carnelian, banded agate, bloodstone, black onyx, turquoise, and yellow-green agate.

Set in pewter- or antiqued silver-tone metal, the brooch was designed to be worn on clothing, scarves, or hats. The back also includes a tag that allows it to be worn as a pendant on a chain, adding versatility to its decorative function.
