Superb, rare Renaissance period table in walnut from France, 16th century
A beautiful table that can be used as a presentation table or a desk, as it has a height below the apron of 64cm.
A beautiful top with a carved frieze. The apron is decorated with spinning tops at the corners.
It rests on a base with carved skates connected by a carved wooden brace.
It rests on seven carved columns reminiscent of the columns of a Roman temple.
Magnificent patina and in superb condition, with minor restorations.
