A very beautiful toy, probably originally intended to be drawn by a goat, dating from the early 20th century.
Some of these carriages, replicas of the Victoria, were made in Egypt for the children of English settlers.
This small carriage, still functional and which could still be used, pulled by a large dog, a goat, a miniature pony, or even a miniature donkey or horse, is also a very beautiful decorative object in its own right.
Two miniature lanterns and brass footboards, wooden spoked wheels, like the real ones, covered with rubber bands, quilted and topstitched imitation saddle leather seats, a folding hood, real axles, a drawbar, and two shafts.
