A striking set of hand-carved ghurra from the midlands of Nepal. Beautifully carved, these objects were used as implements for churning butter. Simplistic geometric forms are elevated with intricate details and a gorgeous patina that only comes with generations of use. Ghurra were collected by modern artists from Mondrian to Picasso, and served as inspiration for many of their iconic works. Each is displayed on a custom stand.
