A modernist desk, balanced and clearly designed with functionality in mind. Produced around 1955.
its tablet-like shape and open shelving suggest a central placement in a room, where the piece asserts its understated elegance.
this desk has been meticulously restored by our conservator; the desktop has been thoroughly polished to a near-new condition.
a very similar example, sold by us in 2022, has been attributed to louis paolozzi based on formal characteristics and stylistic comparisons.

drawers: d 45 cm x h 9 cm.
a few minor scratches and signs of normal wear remain on the black laminate desktop, along with a small restoration mark near the top drawer (see photos).
