A striking example of traditional Granada pottery, this large hand-thrown earthenware bowl features a vibrant green-glazed bird at its center, surrounded by stylized foliage and rhythmic wavy bands in classic Fajalauza style. The central motif is both decorative and symbolic, rooted in centuries-old Andalusian ceramic traditions. The bowl’s wide rim is lightly stippled and unglazed, emphasizing its rustic charm. This type of ware was traditionally used for display or as a serving vessel during festive occasions in southern Spain.
