Authentic Maitland-Smith neoclassical figural sculpture featuring a kneeling Grecian-style woman presenting an open book. Beautifully detailed from the draped classical garment and floral hair adornment to the sculpted “pages” of the book. Finished in an antiqued brass/bronze tone with warm highlights and natural patina in the recessed areas—exactly the kind of elevated, old-world accent Maitland-Smith is known for.

Because it’s exceptionally heavy for its size, it works beautifully as a decorative bookend / desk accessory / library sculpture—perfect for styling built-ins, shelves, a study, or an executive desk.
