The high, winged backrest (pronounced wingback) opens into generous, theatrical, almost architectural curves, creating a protective and monumental embrace, reminiscent of Gio Ponti's graphic signatures. The wide, sculpted armrests descend with sinuous grace, creating a refined contrast between full volume and elusive lines. The low, deep seat invites refined relaxation, typical of designer lounge chairs of the period.
