A charming neoclassical/empire style table clock, dating to the early 20th century (early 1900s). The solid wood case features a temple-like architecture defined by fluted columns, turned capitals, upper pinnacles, and a decorative brass railing at the base. A distinctive and visually striking element are the two exposed metal bells beneath the dial, which is embellished with gilded floral motifs and roman numerals.
