By Frederick Cooper, Val's Dollhouse is proud to present a newly rewired pair of Regency style Florentine motif lamps. Featuring a glass classical urn shape body in golden yellow fading to sea green at the base with repeating gold gilt European fleur-de-lis pattern. Original gold leaf base and top.
The fleur-de-lis is primarily a French symbol, representing the "lily flower" and serving as the historic emblem of French royalty and national identity. While it has ancient roots worldwide and is the heraldic symbol of Florence, Italy, its most prominent historical, cultural, and political association is with the French monarchy.
