This is a very rare '192' daybed by Børge Mogensen, produced by Fredericia Stolefabrik and sold at Copenhagen department store Illums Bolighus (brass plaque on underside and part of original sales tag remain). Designed in 1955; this example is late 1950s or early 1960s. Oak frame with birch base, sprung seat and back cushions. Original wool-blend fabric in orange, mostly original finish with a few small refinished areas on back of daybed. Brass side supports.
In good vintage condition; some light staining, wear, and sun-fading to upholstery. One area of distress and seam separation on corner of seat cushion. Could use new foam but useable as-is. Frame is in very good condition, with some discoloration to three slats on back. Areas of lightening and stain loss on bottoms of legs.
27" high x 76.75" wide x 34.25" deep. Seat height is 12."
