The French brand Jaz released its first "Dato" clocks in the 1960s.
The front is made of brown Formica with a raised gold-tone metal decoration, and the dial is made of PVC.
The Roman numerals, two hands, and second hand are black.
The internal calendar on the dial displays the date and day (instructions for setting the date are on the back).
Battery operated.
Tends to run fast when the battery is changed.
