This is a lovely piece of Americana Folk Art. The walnut chair is handcarved with a decorative top rail on the back rest. There is also a carved apron across the front and hand turned spindle legs and rails on the front. We don’t believe the needlepoint seat is original, but rather added in the 1940-1950s. It features pink botanical flora on a sage green ground. The chair is walnut.
