Exquisite and extremely rare Twemco Automatic clock, model Auto-20 with calendar.
Taiwan, 1970s.
Tai Wah Electrical Mfg. Co.
The largest model in the Auto series, 50 x 50 cm.
A rare piece, on display at the Hong Kong Museum (see photos).
Donated by Twemco to the museum.
White lacquered metal frame and PVC acrylic case.
Automatic clock with a hinged calendar. Day, date, and month.
The time is set using a crown located underneath.
The calendar setting mechanism is located on the back, behind two screw-on covers.
Impressive dimensions:
50 x 50 cm.
10 cm deep.
Iconic and stylish, it will be a striking addition to any space. This piece has an attribution mark,
