The casting technique creates intricate details in the metal, this one an etched type finish and features a geometric fish shape along the band at the top. This bowl is unusual because it also has rings on either side. The bowl sits flat, but as expressed in the photos, the handmade nature of the bowl, the rim is not completely flat. The bowls were traditionally used for measuring grains or rice. See less
