A playful silver plated service set by Los Castillo, crafted in Taxco Mexico in the 1960's. This collectible set includes a creamer pitcher, lidded sugar pot, and matching ladle. Both creamer and sugar are decorated with a beautifully formed parrot in turquoise. The ladle is inset with turquoise and is decorated with a flower at its end.
Renowned for their sculptural and imaginative silver work, the Castillo family workshop has long been celebrated by collectors and interior designers. This whimsical set is both functional and decorative. Each piece is signed "Los Castillo Taxco Mexico" (see photos.)
