Lovely Maitland Smith 4-panel folding screen, depicting Magnolia flowers and Sparrows. Signed and sealed by artist. Watercolor and ink on paper over boards. Silk border. Lacquered black wood frame with engraved copper corners and plaques showing age patina. Brown silk and three original labels on back. Designed by Maitland Smith. Hand made and hand painted in Peoples Republic of China. Very Good condition - some age wear overall, repairs on silk back, strong hinges, clean, sturdy.
