Although unsigned, it was made by the … Read more Wonderful unique handmade postmodern art pottery perfume bottle circa late 1980's, early 90's. Although unsigned, it was made by the ceramic artist Julie Thompson. The bulbous bottom is a soft peachy color and measures roughly 2.5" across. The top piece that sits in the base measures 5" wide x 3" high. The total height of the pottery piece is 6". A studio artist based in the San Diego area, Julie Thompson is known for her colorful and detailed porcelain and stoneware. This particular piece features a semi matte glazed bulbous base in a soft peach color topped with a flat fan shaped abstract stopper featuring soft aqua, peach and pink. The swirling blackish blue design adds a nice contrast and pop. The colors are indicative of the 80's early 90's post modern period.
