The technique is an application of interlaced diagonal ribbons of colored glass, creating a woven or crisscross effect that wraps the entire vessel. The pattern shows controlled hot-working and rotational twisting. The warm blue ground with lavender and clear threads, giving it a strong depth and movement. The bottle has a high gloss and smooth exterior surface. The internal patterning creates a sense of optical depth, typical of studio and Murano influenced work. It also aligns with Venetian lattice.reticello reinterpretations. See less
