Purchased new in 1952, this collection is a testament to the enduring legacy of Minton Pottery, an iconic British ceramics manufacturer renowned for producing wares that have graced the tables of nobility for over two centuries.

The delicate floral pattern with cinnamon-colored bows, leaves, and curlicue stems on a soft, glossy white background is accented with teal and berry colored flowers, on elegantly fluted designs and edged in 24 carat gold.

This lovely set includes service for twelve (12) in dinner plates, luncheon plates, salad plates, bread & butter plates (plus 2 extra), rim soup bowls and flat cup saucers. There are (11) flat cups, (11) dessert bowls and a 4-cup teapot with lid. Two demitasse cup-and-saucer sets were added later. It's truly a beautiful set for anyone who appreciates exquisite craftsmanship and a classically graceful tablescape.

This set is in excellent condition, having been carefully wrapped and stored in boxes for several decades, and shows not a hint of crazing, cracking, fading, staining, or chipping. The majority of the pieces feature the distinguished Globe back stamp (1912-1950), while some bear the Wreath back stamp (1951+), adding to its mid-century-traditional appeal and authenticity.
