This silver-plated writing set dates from the early 20th century and is in the Art Nouveau style. It is in pristine condition, having never been used and always stored away. The inkwell or writing set features numerous embossed decorations and a spectacular design. It has a beautiful patina and is surprisingly heavy for its size. It is chased and has a silver-plated base. Art Nouveau period. Measures 17 x 18 x 8 cm. This is a collector's item. It consists of two separate pieces: the silver-plated base and the marble inkwell with a silver-plated lid. See less
