The surface features deeply incised geometric and floral motifs typical of traditional Bedouin craftsmanship, developed through generations of functional use and ritual preparation of coffee. Originally used with a pestle for grinding coffee beans, this piece now serves equally well as sculptural decor, a vessel for flowers, or an ethnographic accent. The mortar is in very good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear, surface patina, and minor abrasions consistent with use. Please see all photographs for exact condition.
