The chairs rest on carved and gently curved feet and offer generous seat proportions. The walnut retains a warm, dark patina developed through years of use.
The seats are upholstered in a newer linen fabric, tacked down with exposed nails and staples for an informal, deconstructed appearance. The chairs sit firm and comfortable and may be used as-is, or the upholstery may be replaced at the buyer’s discretion for a more formal or contemporary look.
