French Modernist Rattan Bar or Flower Cart with Bottle Holders,
A striking and sculptural French modernist bar or flower cart, crafted entirely from natural rattan in the 1960s–70s and evocative of the elegant yet casual designs favored by French decorators such as Maison Jansen. This versatile piece features a gracefully curved form with large flanking wheels (21" diameter) and bentwood handles, allowing it to function equally well as a mobile serving cart or display stand.
The two-tiered structure is defined by upright rattan slats and finely laced rattan accents. The upper tier is fitted with six circular compartments (4" diameter each) to hold wine bottles, flower pots, or other vessels—ideal for both residential entertaining or boutique display use. The lower tier offers open slatted storage for barware, towels, or garden tools.
