Design Plus Gallery presents a Pair of Antique Louis XV Armchairs with Needlepoint Upholstery. This elegant pair of antique Louis XV–style armchairs showcases finely carved walnut frames paired with embroidered needlepoint upholstery. The chairs exemplify classic Rococo design, distinguished by its graceful, sinuous lines, cabriole legs, and detailed carvings of shells and floral motifs along the crest rail, apron, and knees. Each chair has floral needlepoint panels on the back and seat and framed with decorative nailhead trim. The patina of the walnut complements the soft, tapestry-like textiles, creating a refined balance of structure and ornamentation. In good antique condition, visible and minimal wear from usage.
