This chair has that wonderful soft patina from being well loved. Attributed to Drexel Heritage, the original label was removed when the seat was reupholstered.
There are several features which make this chair so special… the horse hoof feet, the open carved Burl back splat .. and especially the hand painted detail and gold trim.
The drop in seat is upholstered in blue and white geometric print which echoes the hand painted detail.
Please check condition notes and all photos.
No refinishing has been done in order to preserve the gilding and the painted details.
