A French neoclassical faïence transfer printed creamware plate produced by P&H Choisy, circa 1824-1836.
A black transfer of an architectural image on a creamware body, depicting the Arc de l’ Étoile à Paris. The Arc is prominent, with the title printed below. A floral border follows the rim.
Measures: 8.5 in. diameter x .75 in. height
An impressed makers mark on the verso, Valentin Paillart and Hippolyte Hautin, the P&H Choisy shield, with the number 19.
