This listing is for an antique French mantel clock.
This clock was made in the portico style by master artisan, Lucin of Paris. Lucin was in business from 1817-1825.
The casing is gorgeous made from red marble and gilt bronze.
It is complimented by a white porcelain dial bearing Lucin’s name.
The movement is a silk thread with time and strike.
The clock is quite gorgeous, but it does have some signs of normal wear and age. Bronze urn shaped ornament on top left is missing its foliage. It should match the one on the right. Back left foot is non matching and it is not properly attached. Right marble column is a tad loose. A couple of small bronze floral ornaments missing from upper marble.
