A Very Nice Antique Historical Blue Decorated Staffordshire Platter "State House Boston" by J. Stubbs, Circa 1820's
Made by Joseph Stubbs at the Dale Hall Works, Longport, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, circa 1822-1835
Central depiction of the Boston state house, and an eagle border. Made of blue transfer printed pearlware.
Size: 14 3/4" by 12 1/4"
Condition: Several utensil scratches on the interior, and on the interior rim edges. Other scattered use and wear marks associated with age/use. See pictures.
